Q: My father passed away in September 2012.  I haven’t been able to feel him (and I’m sensitive), it is actually a disconnect where I don’t feel anything, to me that is very odd.  Any insight or messages from him? Susan Reinholz / Whitewater

A: Darling Susan, sensitive or not, losing your dad is a bid deal. I’m sorry that you haven’t been able to make that connection. Grief has a tendency to lower our vibe, put a cloud around us, blocking reception from the other side. So sensitive or not, it can effect our ability to connect. And the way it sounds, you are still in the ‘grief’ zone….IF you tune into the show, each week I talk about how to RAISE SOME HEAVEN ~ tips to help your spirit soar (today we talked about ‘bad habits being good’ for the spirit). These are simple  things we can do, each day, to help us raise our energy to make connection to our spirit, spirit(s), more possible. However, your dad reveals, to me, that he has come to you and dismissed it (and simply for the reasons I mentioned here ~ which is most common). He shows me an image of you reflecting on a past experience, while looking at a photograph (obviously, he is in it). You were crying so hard, that your heart hurt (I feel this sensation, too, as I write you ~ may even be the cause of his transition to other side). You may have even felt this sensation and had that thought or expressed it out loud with him in mind. He stood by during that time. And he wants you to know that he will always be by your side when you need him most.

Q: Hi there, I keep calm by being in nature.  It’s a great time of year to take a walk, being around trees.  Allowing you to breathe more openly and effortlessly!

I have question about my lifestyle.  Do you see me moving-forward and moving out of my family unit?  I feel like I’m “divorcing” my family and believe it or not, it feels nourishing.  I’m not attached but I do love them from a distance.

A: Ohhh Heather, I know a lot of people who ‘divorce’ family….and that they think its for their best, momentarily. However, as a medium ~ I often see people who made those choices then they regret it later. Especially once an estranged family member passes on. So much harder on the person who severed ties. I’d say it results in heavy guilt. And regrets of what wasn’t said or done before someone is gone ~ lost forever (while spirit transcends on, most identify death with loss in the physical world and their grief is unbearable).  But if you ‘feel’ nourished to leave, then do so to heal…your instincts are calling you to leave. So by all means go out there to find yourself. And, while you are on your journey….remember who you are! Your family made you who you are ~ the bad with the good ~ and that is pretty awesome. Hopefully one day you are strong enough to face inner demons, which is why you want far away as possible ~ and say what you need to say (if necessary), so that you can find peace within. All this in effort to accept yourself, along with those family members ~ as who they are…. A: No ~ don’t think you’ll ever stop worrying about money Jessica. That’s probably not what you wanted to hear. And I say it….because, if you can remember back, I get the sense you were stressed about money even when things were better financially? Plus, this is a familiar family pattern that was conditioned on both sides of the family! Think about it. True?! I understand things are tight. So I hear you Jessica. And happiness is a choice. So is worrying.… stop pandering to those emotions because it begets more of the same. It all works out. Be grateful for your husband’s happiness. Be grateful for your husband’s job (do this before resting/rising each day)…..and you’ll see things improve with that simple internal adjustment.  If it still stresses you out that things are not covered adequately at home, there has been something you’ve investigating doing on the side for supplemental income. Right? Get on it, because it will divert your attention from these matters discussed ~ and put your focus on generating disposable revenue. I see birds, I see feathers ~ I want to say birds of a feather flock together…not sure what that means to you, but when I see these spirit guides around others ~ they are trying to inspire you to lift. To personally fly. And feathers, no matter the coloring, shape, etc, means angels are working around you. The opportunity you seize won’t be entirely solo, but with your flock. A: Thanks for the sentiments Dana. Regarding 911: I know that ‘emergency call’ maybe the first thing that would come to anyone’s mind.…because we have learned this behavior associated to the number. However, really important you let go of the fear. Hand over your thoughts of panic to the heaven’s to transmute so you are not seeking the ‘emergency.’ Especially the words ‘it’s killing me!’ “The only thing we should fear is fear itself” FD Roosevelt. And not that I’m advocating a particular religion, but here’s a good passage from ‘Psalms 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.’ You are protected and guided in the transitions taking place in your life. Ask for peace of heart during your life transition. Let things unfold, because I believe they are trying to communicate that some of the things you’ve been trying to manifest are coming to you faster than you anticipate…. this spring! A: Thanks Maria for your feedback. I have an aunt that I see with you ~ who liked to dress up, complete with makeup….always made sure she looked good. Feels she is approaching me from your maternal side of family on other side. She always put on her best face ~ even when she didn’t feel it. Wearing a smile was part of that package too. She seems a guide to you in this situation. Because I get the impression you haven’t taken this path in awhile (meaning: putting on your best face). I feel you could careless ~ simply feeling a bit sullen, maybe victim like, from a few set backs with job losses. As a result, your self-confidence has suffered. Thus, it shows in the way you present yourself. She wants you to pay attention when you have the opportunity to interview. Because I see another opportunity, other than the two you mentioned, and ‘putting on your best face’ (mentally, physically, emotionally) will be an important factor when they take a candidate into consideration. She wants you to think beyond the seasonal, part-time work too ~ and take stock in who, what you offer and consider your worth to take on something that offers more stability ~ a future. With all that said, I do believe you’ll hear from the seasonal work. However, this other opportunity will be offer more in terms what was implied from the heavens….keep me posted! Bless, LL

A: Sorry to hear about your sis, Ann And without a doubt it affects her family. But, at least you understand, and have compassion, for the underlying cause of your dynamic. But, not feeling so sure the rest of the family has as much empathy. Yet, her condition is relatively common. And I believe she has (and can) get help to treat. I get the sense from another female on the other side that she has taken on a family affliction (it is in the genes). Given that, she knows what to do to make herself well, but doesn’t recognize her heath as a priority. So she doesn’t take it seriously because she has lived with it for a long while. She also has been medicated for this condition ~ but, again, as not taking it a priority in her life, she doesn’t always adhere to the necessary regime. Additionally, her condition would be minimized, or more balanced, with basics such as adequate rest, exercise and dietary changes. Again, that means she’d have to prioritize this for herself. She has had the guidance, in more ways than one, to help her alleviate the situation as I hear from spirit. But it seems as if she blames the ‘condition’ or outside circumstances ~ as if she has little control. Bottom line, she gives up her power. Until she takes responsibility, or admit to her problem, will things improve. She could go 50-50 with the direction she takes…it’s really up to her. But, as much as I hate not giving better news, I just don’t necessarily gaining control of her situation if others reaffirm her sickness all the time. That doesn’t help the situation. Maybe you can assist, by being her angel, and just praying or affirming her mental well being. Call in the angels (or Christ, Mary, God, or whomever you feel called to assist in manners) and see them support her by standing by her side to make her strong. Thank them for helping her regain  100% health: mentally, physically, and spiritually. Visualize her at this state living life more fully. What would that look like for her? IF you know, see it. And hold that light for her daily or when this concern crosses your mind ~ repeat the prayer. Continue the practice until you see a shift physically. Seems her light is dimmed and she needs that inner strength to pull her from the depths of this challenge. I have put this to practice for my loved ones, in times of challenge, and it indeed proves miraculous. Keep me posted.

A: Love it Ann! I understand where you are going with this one.…However, I don’t see the separation because ALL ARE ONE AND ONE ARE ALL. You can’t ever be separated from the light of God…as you have the seed of divinity within you ~ everyone is the child of God whether or not they acknowledge that spirit. Being your own hero doesn’t go against God. In fact, it is working in tandem with God (Though God maybe called something different in other religious sects). Listening to the call within, being within integrity of that which you are inspired (in spirit)/called to do, you are following God’s will. Then you act on faith from that guidance…somewhat like the biblical figure ‘Moses’. The call can come in different ways for people. It can be a feeling through the heart or an angel (God’s messengers) can send a message which you may hear as a whisper (small voice within) or have a feeling and or they may appear. The light can appear in many forms, so even a dearly departed can appear in a dream to send you a message (because you most likely will receive that form of messenger). How do you discern if the message comes from the light (benevolent source)? If one feels those messages are guiding to intentionally hurt oneself or another (or it feels bad), that is not the call of the light. Anyone who says otherwise, is using ‘fear’ to manipulate others into submission. However, if one is guided to be their best to inspire, empower or enlighten (help) others in whatever form (and it feels good) ~ then you are inspired by the light (or God). If that means rising up, to be your personal best, then that is indeed the light of love to shine upon the world for others to be inspired too. That takes courage to listen to that call and follow it. That is a hero. Example of such great heroes that I can think off the top of my head that inspired others: Rosa Parks, Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Mother Theresa…list goes on…these people were defiantly inspired by a higher power within themselves to rise up. Q: Hi Laura Lee! I would like to know if you can kindly tell me hat you see concerning my mortgage and obtaining full time employment. I share a house with my mother and brother, and I was the cause for the position where in, since I was laid off we started to have mortgage payment issues. When we try to refinance, it seems like where being denied and my mother is worried that since I don’t have a full time job its going to be hard! For that reason, it has put a strain on our relationship. I would love to find a great job and eventually move out and live on my own, while helping with the mortgage! Asha/NY

A: Oh, bless you Asha. What pressure you have from family, and yourself, to rise to the occasion. And indeed you will find a job this spring, to cover the expenses, because you seek it out. Being laid off was something you could not control. So lay off yourself from assuming all the burden (I’m sure it doesn’t help with mom’s guilt trips. Ask her gently to lay off too ~ but understand that she is scared too). By taking good care of yourself such as exercise, resting, eating right will help you breathe ~ find focus, clarity and be centered ~ thus, keep your space open for something new to gravitate to you faster. Be patient, be confident, but not too picky ~ because this year is more about soul searching where you want to go ~ and become. Not to mention that this strain with your mother happened long before this challenge. The financial pressures just aggravated the situation by bringing it to the surface; again ~ and perhaps it’s time to lay it all down so you can enrich your relations long-term. I see another mother figure attached to the house, your family, from the other side (maternal). If she has anything to do with it, the house stays. And I get the sense, from her, that the key is going to be ‘how you respond’ to the family dynamics. By next year, at this time, I do see that you get out on your own. One last thing Asha, I want to recommend you hand these burdens over to the heavens ~ see your angel in your minds eye stand before you and then hand over your mother, hand over the mortgage documents, hand over your resume and thank them for caring for these matters on your behalf. Thank them that they give you and your mother peace. And also help you find the right work to pay expenses. Continue this practice until you find the peace in your heart ‘knowing’ all is done. A:  Happiness is a choice Lily ~ but if you want to keep the heart singing, be true to you. So, yeah, dead end jobs usually don’t lead to your heart singing daily ~ but at the very least, they have a silver lining: you learn what you don’t want! And your existing job is waking you up to that fact by giving you the gentle push to move with your heart’s call. Soon it will be a shove, so act as soon as possible. Remember that EVERYTHING is in divine order and you are exactly where you need to be at this point. So relax to hear, feel, and or see clearly. It doesn’t have to be a career ~ at least just yet. It can be something you get a kick out of doing but wouldn’t consider for monetary reasons. So that’s why they are often overlooked and or blocked from clear view. With you, I sense a dog near by…whether it is in physical and or spiritual world ~ their spirit can guide in a few ways for you. First, a sense of loyalty at default, which is why you may stick things out even at your own detriment ~ like the ‘dead-end’ job. But, that’s a good trait when you find your niche. Also, the idea of animals (now or in your past) in your life, seem to have brought joy to your heart. They may play a bigger role in your life.  I see that you’ve taken care of another person’s pet too ~ which may have brought you joy. This may give you a clue to where this might be leading. Might be far out ~ right now, but keep this in mind while reflect on past memories where this may ring to be true. It’s always so basic that it falls below the radar. For example, I loved connecting to the spirit world for family and friends as long as I can remember but never in a million years would consider as an occupation when I had pursued a business communications degree working in Corporate America. A: Thanks for sharing Denise ~ and what good news! So happy you decided to unblock yourself from the conundrums of work and finances to make room for play ~ love! Keep your feet planted dear Denise and remember that you are ‘amazing’ too! And while you maybe in awe of this new person in your life ~ he is human with vulnerabilities too, despite an impressive resume! So what I am saying is don’t put him on the pedestal if it’s the resume that makes you swoon, pay attention to the heart while you get it ‘figured out’ ~ per your words. Open, warm, peaceful, loving feelings means it’s the right track ~ again, if it’s the resume, that’s fine too if that is opening the door to your connection. However, if you feel at any point that your heart aches, feels cold, and or a sense of anxiety then guidance is saying not to get too close to his shiny persona (at that point in time). He’s trying to figure it out too ~ and in the interim, he may inspire you to be and do some of the things he has  in terms of travel ~ even teach. But, because you haven’t allowed love to enter the picture in a awhile, according to a mother on maternal side, out of protection (she claims you pray for guidance for ‘love’) of the heart. I have the energy of hurt, from past love affair, that hasn’t completely healed. This can be for one and or both of you which keeps you from fully merging right away….so it maybe a gradual process which makes you both feel comfortable. Keep me posted.
